Best beach tennis rackets for control (2026)
Control is how easily you put the ball exactly where you aim. Softer cores and thicker profiles hold the ball a little longer, which makes touch shots and placement easier, at the cost of some power.
Sexy Crazy Horse
Most control and biggest sweet spot of all 86: the heaviest racket here (350 g, published), Kevlar face, soft foam. Slow to swing.
Full specsSexy Mission X
Big sweet spot and lots of control on paper, but heavy (348 g) and largely estimated: provisional. Sexy itself rates it even (Power 8, Control 8).
Full specsKona One White
Least power of all 86 and third-most control: extra-soft non-black foam and 48 holes. Cheapest Kona (converted from its US price).
Full specsSexy Calbucci Defender
Control paddle with a big sweet spot, matching Sexy's own rating (Control 10, Power 8). Very slow to swing on the estimated 27.5 cm balance; thickness and balance not published.
Full specsSexy Crazy Horse Super Ultra-Light
The lighter, signed Crazy Horse: 335 g instead of 350 g, same Kevlar face and soft foam. Still top 5 of all 86 on control and sweet spot, but slow to swing (80th of 86). Limited edition; thickness estimated.
Full specsSexy Carbonator
Control-leaning and light for a Sexy (330 g), but very head-heavy (27-28 cm published), so slow to swing.
Full specsSexy Gatekeeper
20 mm, 345 g control paddle. Heavy and (estimated) head-heavy, so it asks for strength.
Full specsNOX Nova 87

Full specsMormaii Vitoria Marchezini III
