Ace Racket Lab works without any account and stores nothing about you.
If you ask for your quiz results by email, we use your address once to send them. Your answers are used to build the email and are not kept with your address unless you tick the alerts box. The answer about arm pain is only used to rank rackets: it is never stored, never put in the email and never passed on.
If you tick the alerts box, we save your email, language, current racket, top pick and quiz answers (without the arm question or the pain-free goal) in our list hosted by Brevo, a French company that keeps data in the EU. We use them for one thing: emailing you when a new racket fits your profile, plus the monthly newsletter. You confirm by email first. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes everything we hold about you. The service is for people aged 16 or older.
If you rate a racket, we keep your rating with your email, your level and how long you have used the racket, so each person rates a racket once. The site only shows averages, from 5 ratings. Your email is never published. The confirmation email has a link to delete your ratings.
Ace Match Lab keeps your matches in your browser. If you create an account, we store your email address and the matches and players you tag (the names you type, scores, point details and notes) in our database, hosted by Upstash, so you get them back on any device. Only you can see them. Other people are named the way you type them, so use initials or nicknames if you prefer. In Match Lab, Settings > Account lets you download everything or delete your account, which erases it all at once. Sign-in emails are sent through Brevo. Your videos never leave your device: the optional video analyzer runs on your own computer.
To delete your data or ask a question, write to qguillouais@gmail.com.
We count page views and quiz answers anonymously, as totals only: no cookies, no IP address, nothing linked to you. The arm question is never counted.
